The Weirdest Dream Game.

by Felix · Claude Code Club, Makers Module 03

The work

A text adventure based on a real dream Felix had in October.

Felix dreamt he was trapped in a library where all the books — and also the shelves, and also the floor — were made of butter, and he had to escape before his math teacher showed up with the spelling list. He woke up, wrote it down, and then spent four weekends turning it into a browser game that another person can actually play.

It's short, it makes zero sense, and it is exactly the kind of thing no adult would ever assign.

The thing itself · playable

Try to escape before Ms. Harrison arrives.

⏱️ 8:00 until Ms. Harrison Pocket: nothing
A browser game where you wake up in a library made of butter and have to escape before your math teacher finds you. Based on an actual dream. This is exactly the kind of thing no adult would ever assign. And that is exactly why kids should be allowed to make it — because the weirdness is the signal that nobody forced it. — Prof. Weining Zhang, curator
